Meachem Elementary School

Welcome to Meachem Elementary School, a PreK-5 building, located in the southwest quadrant of Syracuse, NY. Meachem is a strong family oriented school supported by an involved parent teacher organization (PTO) and committed neighborhood businesses. At Meachem we are committed to promoting positive behaviors through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative, as well as, providing many opportunities for students to grow and learn. As students, parents and staff work together to achieve success for all students we expect that you are always marveled when at Meachem!!!

Our mission is to ensure that all students demonstrate the application of the necessary skills and knowledge, motivation to engage in creative problem solving and life-long learning, a positive sense of self and a respect for all; which will be accomplished by designing an educational system that empowers the diverse Meachem community to meet the individual needs of all students through excellence in teaching and student centered learning.
