Commissioner Richard Strong

Rich is a father of three children, two currently attending Syracuse City School District schools and one graduate of Syracuse Schools (Corcoran High School Class of 2008). Rich attended Syracuse City Schools and graduated from Corcoran In 1988. He has attended Onondaga Community College and graduated from Syracuse University and the Syracuse University College of Law. Rich and his family have been active in community organizations such as Pop Warner football, CYO basketball, Parents for Public Schools, PTAs and many others. Currently Rich is Corporate Director and Senior Counsel of Government Affairs for a Fortune 500 company and an adjunct professor at the Syracuse University College of Law. Rich decided to serve on the Syracuse City School District Board of Education to improve the education of all children in the City of Syracuse and help provide opportunities for each child to reach their potential and beyond.
